AVON CITY FORD GATEWAY & STAR AUTOMOTIVE COURSES
YOUTH GUARANTEE COURSE 2017
This course is fully funded by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). The focus of this course is to prepare students for a career in the automotive industry. The course runs for 40 weeks and is open to students who are aged between 16 and 19 years. As well as completing the industry recognised pre-trade qualifications students can expect to develop their life and work readiness skills through a selection of generic unit standards.
Prospective students will need to have a passion for the motor industry and demonstrate that they have the literacy and numeracy skills required to complete the course.
